A FEW DREAMS AND EXAMPLES OF INTERPRETING THEM.

DREAM 1.

 I am outside at the backyard of an unknown house. There is a road between the backyard of  the house and an inbuilt area, fields with trees and grass. The garden in which I stand is big, but with no flowers or grass. It looks as if the garden has been burned at some places, mostly bare ground.

With me in the garden is a man of about my age. He worked in the garden, had started to plant seeds and at some places small green plants are already growing. I walk with him in the garden while he shows me what he has already done and tells me what he plans to do.

The man tells me he was a miner for 20 years and now he wants to plant all sorts of things, develops the garden, and sells the plants, fruits and vegetables he will grow there. He asks me to stay with him and help him with the garden. I look at a row of big trees at the other side of the garden, while I consider if I want to stay with him or not. I think I decided that I will stay, but did not give my answer yet. The man had a big, fat cat. In the background, making no contact with us, were another man, a friend of the man with me. End.

INTERPRETATION DREAM 1.

BACKYARD. The Mind behind the mind, Super conscious information.

GARDEN. Symbolizes your inner Self, what’s growing, developing in you, potential. In this case the old inner situation were destroyed, purified by fire and are ready for new growth and development. The man (conscious life) has already begin to plant and create a garden, you are asked if you want to go on with something already started, new project or outer life situation, and are shown the possible future.

MAN. Conscious life situation.

GARDENER. The man is developing and caring for the inner garden, conscious, physical life will play a part in developing the situation.

WALK WITH HIM. To walk or travel in a car, etc., symbolizes life journey.

MINER. Like a miner mines for precious metals or stones, this miner symbolizes mining the Mind, of Self and others. In this case, because it was one of my own dreams, it symbolizes mining the minds of others by means of dream interpretation.

PLANS FOR FUTURE. Your own future, developing that which will grow and bear fruit in future.

SELLING. Sharing that which you will develop in Self and physical life situation with others who may need it. The fruit, plants, etc. symbolize in this case knowledge.

HELP HIM, STAY WITH HIM. Potential choice for future situation in your life.

ROAD. Could suggest a possible ‘road’ to take, present choices that will influence your future.

CAT. Independence. If you should choose to take the possible ‘Life road’ which are shown to you in the dream, the cat symbolize that you will be independent, successful.

TREES IN DISTANCE. Previous life(s) and the experiences, knowledge and wisdom gained, will be used in new situation.

ANOTHER MAN. Another conscious life situation, as the man in the background, was the miner\gardener’s friend, he could symbolize congenial, caring, friendly situation.

This dream tells the dreamer about a possible choice that he\she should consider. It shows the present and the situation in the future. There will be work and effort needed to reach your goal, but it would be worth it, independence and sharing, providing for Self and others.

DREAM 2.

I dream some people and animals have a contagious disease. Something that effects the liver. My son and myself are standing outside a hospital when men with a wheelbarrow arrives. They stop, remove the canvas covering something and shows us lots of removed livers. I tell my son to stand back, the disease is contagious. I look at the livers and see that some have black spots on it, while others are red and bloody in the centre. End.

A few days later: I dream me and my son are with a doctor. The doctor gives my son a prescription for antibiotics, then he looks up and says to me: ‘See you tomorrow’. End.

INTERPRETATION DREAM 2.

ILLNESS. Warning that something is physically wrong with dreamer.

LIVER. Irritation, suffering. Dreams are seldom literal, rather pointing out that some organ is sick than the specific organ.

SON. Her own future conscious life she has to take care of and protect.

HOSPITAL. Where we get help, are healed.

DOCTOR. More often, inner healer in Self, taking care of emotional hurts. In this case, advice to go and see a doctor.

PRESCRIPTION. Need for medication.

THE WORDS ‘SEE YOU TOMORROW’. Direct advice to seek help immediately.

A few days after having this dream, this woman indeed got ill and went to the doctor. It was not a contagious disease and nothing to do with her liver, but an infection of the kidneys. After a course of antibiotics, she still did not feel well. The day after she had the second dream, she went back to the doctor and he described a further course of antibiotics, which cured her.

Although all dreams of disease or illness do not necessarily mean physical illness, more often it’s an emotional ‘sickness’, the possibility of a real disease must always be considered. Better make sure, than be sorry !.

DREAM 3.

I dream I receive a diamond ring from an elderly Indian man. He is the farther of the young man I promised to marry. The man I am to marry is not in the dream, but his mother is around the whole time. They own a big shop, selling linen and cloth, rolls and rolls of beautiful silk and all sorts of cloth. I work at their shop.

I show the ring to my family and tells them the father gave me the ring as prove that I will marry the son. Then the diamond comes loose from the setting and I take it to the father. He tells me it’s no problem, he will fix it so that it will not come loose again. End.

INTERPRETATION DREAM 3.

ELDERLY COUPLE. Usually symbolizes your own mother and father. Dreams sometimes calls in different ‘actors’ to represent them. Thus your own ‘older Self’, symbolizing wisdom gained through experience.

SON. Outer life, (conscious life circumstances) she will ‘marry’, thus commitment to something which will influence her outer life situation.

RING. Commitment. Wholeness, any round object means wholeness, completeness.

DIAMOND. Super conscious truths, the light of awareness, very valuable, eternity.

SHOWS FAMILY. Every part of your own Self made aware of the ‘commitment’.

SHOP. Where you can obtain what you want or need in life.

WORK THERE. Helping to supply to Self and others what’s needed.

DIAMOND COMING LOOSE. Because of previous neglect of spiritual Self and\or talents, she almost lost something very precious.

FATHER FIXING IT. The father, (wise, experienced conscious life) will ‘fix’ the ring, thus her own way of behaving, conscious life situation will ‘rescue’ what was almost lost.

This woman had for some time lived a life not true to her own Self. She had neglected a very important part of her psyche. Her experiences through life(s) had brought her to a point where she again had to choose her life path. She chose correctly this time, knows herself and her ideals better, also the outer life she must live. A more spiritually orientated life will suit her best.

She commits herself to and will ‘marry’ this kind of life. In future she will take care of not neglecting or losing an important part of herself, will develop her talents and take care of spiritual development.

DREAM 5.

(a). Me and my daughter are travelling somewhere in our car. I am driving, we have just left the house, the road goes slightly downhill. Suddenly there are no brakes, I tried to stop the car with the handbrake but that also failed. We came to stop at the bottom of the road, where the road turns  to the right. My ex-husband arrives there and fixes the car, shows me what to do to fix it myself in future.

(b). A week or two later: Me and my daughter are travelling somewhere in our red car. I am driving, when suddenly I lost control of the car. I don’t know what happened precisely, but we were thrown from the car. I found myself amidst the green bushes and reeds growing beside the road. I called my daughter’s name to hear if she’s okay, she answered, and I saw her far in front of me. Like me, she’s unhurt. I walked through the greenery back to the car. The car was lying on it’s side or roof.

With the help of an unknown man who arrived there, we righted the car. The man will travel with us to the next town. After a short while I again lost partly control of the car, we slided or skidded and came to a full stop, the car partly blocking the way, standing over two lanes. I tell my daughter and the man with me I cannot drive further, are feeling stressed. The man tells me that I have to go on whether I want to or not.

My daughter says that she is hungry and the man shows us a cafe and tells me to stop there, but I was already past the turnoff, and inside a turn to the right of the road, where again I almost lost control of the car, partly leaving the road, but regaining control.

Then we were at our family’s house, the man was gone and it was almost time for me and my daughter to drive back home. I decided to take some pills that would calm me, so that I would not loose control over the car again. End.

INTERPRETATION DREAM 5.

(a). DAUGHTER. The dreamer’s future emotional\mental state.

TRAVELLING IN CAR. Part of everyday life journey.

I AM DRIVING. In control or feeling in control of her life.

BRAKES FAILED. Unexpectantly lost control over life situation.

HANDBRAKE FAILED. Tries to solve problem, but are totally out of control, helpless.

CAME TO FULL STOP. Unable to proceed due to present situation.

ROAD TURNS TO RIGHT. The future, which she do not know where it will lead to, unable to proceed.

EX-HUSBAND FIXES CAR. Help received from man, which symbolizes conscious life situation.

SHOWS ME WHAT TO DO IN  FUTURE. Through experience gained, she will be able to be in control of similar situation in future. Inner and outer.

(b).  LOST CONTROL. She lost control over conscious life and emotions because of outer life situation.

THROWN FROM CAR. ‘Thrown’ into and unexpected and undesirable situation.

GREEN. Healing, growth.

BUSHES AND REEDS. Growth, emotional growth most probably, because reeds grows in wet places, may symbolize learning and emotionally growing because of experiences.

UNHURT. Ability to move on.

RIGHTED THE CAR. The situation is not hopeless, ability to proceed.

MAN. Conscious life circumstances will improve, ability to try again, go on.

DON’T WANT TO DRIVE- HAVE TO.  Due to fears and painful experiences, she feels anxious to take control of her life, but she will try again to be in control of herself and life.

AGAIN LOST CONTROL. Inner and outer life circumstances still not under control, fear, problems.

TURN TO RIGHT. The future.

NEARLY LOST CONTROL. Because of fears, impatience and conscious life situation, she’s still not completely in control of emotions and conscious situation, but are coping much better than before.

FAMILY. All parts of Self.

DRIVE HOME. The Life journey must go on, she has to take control.

PILLS. Help. Still feeling fear and uncertainty, but knows she has to control her emotions, has learned through previous experiences and in future will take precautions to assure better control over herself and conscious life situation.

This woman has had a hard time for a long period . Because of unexpected problems in outer life situation, she became emotionally unstable. Full of fear and anxiety due to persisting problems. She keeps on trying though, do not totally give up, and is slowly but surely gaining control over her conscious life situation which would cause a healing in emotions. She has gained much insight in herself, her capabilities, weaknesses and strengths, and has the ability and wisdom gained through experience, to be more in control of herself and future life situation.

DREAM 10.

My daughter and myself are inside a shop selling shoes. I walk many times through the shop and the racks displaying the shoes, but cannot find what I am looking for. Actually I did not really know what kind of shoes I needed.

INTERPRETATION DREAM 10.

SELF. Present emotional\mental state.

DAUGTER. Future emotional\mental state.

WALK THROUGH SHOP. What’s available to you, choices, potential. Trying to decide path in life.

CANNOT FIND RIGHT SHOES. Confused. Dreamer do not know how to proceed.

DON’T KNOW WHICH SHOES. Lack of understanding, indecision. Totally confused about present and future situation.

The dreamer is in a very difficult phase of her life. She knows her previous inner and outer situation has changed completely. She is totally confused how to handle her present, as well as her future situation. She knows she has to make a choice, ‘move on’, but at this stage she has no idea, no plans what to do.

When she has come to a conclusion about which choices are available and thought about her situation with a clear calm mind, she would be able to ‘choose the right shoes’, thus realize her ideas and reach her goals. The shoes are an important symbol, you cannot climb a mountain with high heeled shoes, etc.

DREAM 12.

My husband, son and daughter and myself are travelling somewhere in a train. During the night the train stopped. My husband took his luggage to leave the train. I tell him I will not walk with him and that another woman are also heading for the same destination as he, he will not walk alone. My husband leaves the train, he has to walk far through fields with long grass and shrubs to reach the place he will live and work in future. My son, daughter and myself will continue the journey, the children are sleeping and I make ready to also go to sleep again.

INTERPRETATION DREAM 12.

HUSBAND. Present conscious life situation in dreamers life.

SON. Future conscious life situation of dreamer.

DAUGTER. Future emotional\mental situation of dreamer.

TRAVELLING IN TRAIN. Destiny. Part of your own Life journey over which you have  no control.

NIGHT. Subconscious information. In this case the night, darkness, could symbolize a ‘dark phase’ of dreamer’s life.

TRAIN STOPPED. Present Life journey and circumstances came to a full stop, changes.

HUSBAND TOOK LUGGUAGE. Conscious life situation that’s leaving, takes with ‘him’ memories, wisdom, experiences, what’s needed to continue his Life journey.

I WILL NOT WALK WITH HIM. Dreamer’s subconscious knows and gives information that the woman will not ‘walk’ further with her ‘husband’, conscious situation leaves her behind.

ANOTHER WOMAN. Because her husband left her, thus do not love her anymore, the other woman symbolizes another feeling, emotional inner state of her husband, that will ‘walk’ with him. His own inner feelings.

HUSBAND LEAVES. Conscious life situation of dreamer leaves her. Change.

WALK TO NEW PLACE. Leaves the previous outer life circumstances, to new situation.

FIELDS WITH LONG GRASS. Completing one ‘season’ in dreamer’s life. Time of reaping, thus ‘death’ of old growth, so that new growth can occur in future. Beginning of new situation.

CONTINUE JOURNEY. The dreamer, her emotions and conscious life (the children) continues her Life journey.

CHILDREN SLEEPING. Future emotional\mental state and conscious life situation will become active later, period of waiting.

I GO TO SLEEP. The dreamer is as yet not fully aware (sleeping), of situation, waiting period before events will take place in her life.

Dreams about train journeys usually tells you what to expect, precognitive information, that which will happen in future. Your destiny or fate. It may change though, if in another dream you get of the train, or the train are in an accident or derailed, something has changed that will influence your Life journey.

You are not in control, not driving, and thus has to go where that road takes you. Something in your Life journey you will have to accept.

A while after having this dream, the woman and her husband got divorced. She could do nothing about it, although she did not want him to go. He left her and the children, went his way, and the woman had to go on into the future without him. She had no choice. Please remember, although the dreamer dreamt her real husband left her, actually when interpreting dreams it’s the situation you are yourself experiencing in your emotional or outer life that’s symbolized. She could have dreamt of another man leaving her, in the same dream, and it would have meant the same. Outer life situation that leaves.

With this dictionary and the examples of dreams and their interpretation, I have tried to give you abetter understanding of your dream symbols.
